Station 1Your child

What would your child do here?

Three quick questions, one example afternoon. No names, no sign-up.

Roughly how old is your child?

Just so the examples fit – not an age limit.

What does your child love doing most? Pick up to three.

And you – what will you do meanwhile?

Here’s how your child’s afternoon could look

Example

Example: age 6–8, loves building and climbing

PLAY HARD.your child

  1. 1 · Get going

Builds a birdhouse from real wood – measuring, sawing and driving in screws.

Along the way, your child practises: Measuring, planning, handling tools

Your child says:

  • “I built a birdhouse. Let’s hang it up!”
  • “I climbed all the way to the top.”

You say:

“I finally got some quiet work done.”

And then they show you what they made: “Look at this!”

  • BUILDThe workshop

“Why does the chain keep coming off?”

Concept visualisation: an adult shows children how to repair a bike on a work stand.
Concept visualisation – not a photo of a completed, open venue. Created with AI.

Planned principles · Show a little. Do a lot.

The real thing at the end:

    A wheel that rolls again.

    What’s behind it

Not a talk about bikes but a real bike – with real tools, chosen for kids and with someone to show them how.

Along the way, your child practises:

    • Skilful hands
    • Sticking with it
    • Understanding tech

Instead of just listening: Whether the chain holds shows straight away. If it doesn’t, your child has another go.

What your child does here: Tighten bolts, fix the chain, patch a tyre, get the light working again.

    Planned

    More about the workshop
  • EXPLOREThe lab

“Why won’t the lamp light up?”

Concept visualisation: children in safety glasses at a breadboard with wires and LEDs.
Concept visualisation – not a photo of a completed, open venue. Created with AI.

The real thing at the end:

    A lamp that lights up.

    What’s behind it

Question first, then the experiment: your child builds the circuit themselves – with real parts, chosen for kids and with someone to show them how.

Along the way, your child practises:

    • Asking questions
    • Understanding tech
    • Sticking with it

Instead of just listening: Your child doesn’t have to know the answer by heart. They find it out.

What your child does here: Plug in wires, build a circuit, add a switch, test it.

    Planned

    More about the lab
  • ROCKThe stage

“Can I have a go on the drums?”

Drawing: an electric guitar, a small amp and a mic stand wearing an orange beanie.
    Illustrative drawing.

The real thing at the end:

A song that gets properly loud.

    What’s behind it

In the planned kids’ band programme your child tries instruments and plays in a band with other children.

Along the way, your child practises:

    • Rhythm
    • Teamwork
    • Being brave

Instead of just listening: A band only sounds right when everyone listens to each other – and you can hear it straight away.

What your child does here: Try instruments, rehearse a song, play together – and one day step on stage.

    Planned

    More about the stage
  • MOVEThe hall

    “How high can I get?”

Concept visualisation: a large hall with a climbing wall, slides and a futsal pitch.
Concept visualisation – not a photo of a completed, open venue. Created with AI.

The real thing at the end:

A goal. A routine. One hold higher.

    What’s behind it

We’re planning Halle Laut for letting off steam – with a climbing wall, slides and a futsal pitch.

Along the way, your child practises:

    • Being brave
    • Body awareness
    • Teamwork

Instead of just listening: How high to go is your child’s call – one hold at a time.

What your child does here: Climb, slide, run, jump. Plus futsal, dance, parkour and kids’ yoga as planned classes.

    Planned

    More about the hall
  • CREATEThe studio

“Is that going to be a monster?”

Concept visualisation: lots of children’s hands painting a large cardboard figure.
Concept visualisation – not a photo of a completed, open venue. Created with AI.

The real thing at the end:

A cardboard monster taller than the door.

    What’s behind it

In the studio something is made that didn’t exist before: from cardboard, paint and your child’s ideas.

Along the way, your child practises:

    • Their own ideas
    • Skilful hands
    • Teamwork

Instead of just listening: There’s no right or wrong – only “What if…?”

What your child does here: Paint, glue, cut – and build something enormous with others.

    Planned

    More about the studio
  • CODEThe code studio

“Will it take the corner now?”

Concept visualisation: children program a small robot car on tablets.
Concept visualisation – not a photo of a completed, open venue. Created with AI.

The real thing at the end:

A robot that does exactly what your child programmed.

    What’s behind it

Not just using tech but understanding and shaping it. We don’t promise a screen-free place.

Along the way, your child practises:

    • Understanding tech
    • Their own ideas
    • Asking questions

Instead of just listening: If the robot turns the wrong way, your child hunts down the bug in the code.

What your child does here: Program a robot car, build a little game of their own, try out AI – and question it.

Station 3Joining in

The doing-word principle

We don’t just listen here. We make things.

Here, learning is a doing word – that’s the idea behind the whole place.

Planned principles

  1. Real tools. Real materials.

Spanners, not plastic hammers. Cardboard, paste and paint, not colouring-in sheets. A real guitar. All sized for small hands – with someone to show them how.

  2. Show a little. Do a lot.

First a grown-up explains what matters. Then your child has a go – with help when they need it.

  3. Mistakes are material.

The lamp stays dark? Then it’s time to look, swap a wire and try again. That’s where it gets interesting.

  4. It ends with something real.

A wheel that rolls again. A song that gets loud. A cardboard monster taller than the door.

  5. Together, not side by side.

Band, team, workbench: kids build, play and rehearse here with other kids.

That’s how we’re planning it. What your child makes of it is up to them.

Try it yourself.

“Why?”

It all starts with a question: why won’t the lamp light up? Your child gets to ask it – and go looking for the answer.

“Let me try!”

Swap a wire, flip the switch, try again. With real parts – and grown-ups alongside who ask questions instead of giving away the answer.

“Done it!”

The lamp lights up – and your child made it happen. That’s the moment we’re building TRALLAFITTY for.

Make Fitty’s pompom light up.

Switch on, circuit closed, lamp lit – here your child tries it with real wires.

Drawing: a 4.5-volt battery, a toggle switch and wires. Fitty’s pompom is the lamp.

Here it happens for real – with real wires and real tools.

What we don’t promise: better grades, smarter kids, miracles. What we’re planning: afternoons full of real things.

We’ll say who leads the classes as soon as it’s settled.

Station 4Loud & quiet

One building. Two volumes.

Turn the dial.

Concept visualisation: a quiet hall with sofas, café tables and phone booths on a gallery.
Concept visualisation: a large hall with a climbing wall, slides and a futsal pitch.

Concept visualisation: how Halle Laut and Halle Leise could look. Planning stage, subject to change. Whether the loud and the quiet side will be two separate halls is not yet decided. Created with AI.

Volume

Loud!

Halle Laut

Climb, slide, run, kick, dance: here your child can be as loud as kids like to be.

  • Climbing wall
  • Slides
  • Futsal pitch
  • Movement rooms

Shhh.

Halle Leise

Upstairs, grown-ups work, take calls in phone booths or read in peace. Downstairs, kids tinker away with focus in the workshop rooms.

  • Desks
  • Phone booths
  • Meeting room
  • Workshop rooms
  • Café

PSSST!

Whisper. Walk on tiptoe. Let the grown-ups work.

Who is with your child?

  • Planned: you’re in the same building, and in classes an adult course leader shows them how it’s done.
  • Still open: who leads the classes and with what qualifications, from what age children take part without you, and whether you may leave the building.

Until then we don’t promise any care without a parent present.

Station 6For you

Your child has plans. So do you.

A place where grown-ups have a good afternoon too.Planned

Concept visualisation: a quiet hall with sofas, café tables and phone booths on a gallery.
Concept visualisation – not a photo of a completed, open venue. Created with AI.
  • Work.

Desks, phone booths and a meeting room are planned in Halle Leise – in the same building as your child.

  • Breathe.

A coffee, a book, a chat with other parents – in the café or a quiet corner.

  • Together.

Eat together in the Sternchenküche, run wild together at the weekend or lend a hand at the workbench.

Time together

  • Themed birthdays

Scavenger hunt, costume party, a mini sports day or kids’ karaoke.

  • Wildweekends

Weekends with kids’ DJs, mini concerts and lots of room to let off steam.

  • Holiday workshops

Building, crafting and trying things out while school’s off.

  • Sternchenküche

Snacks, supper and freshly packed lunchboxes for the next day.

Planned. Booking, prices and whether it’s included in membership are still to be decided.

Station 7The price

What it costs – plainly put.

One price for both halves of the afternoon: your child’s and yours – under the same roof.

Choose who’s coming.

  • 1 adult + 1 child: €1,000 per month (total incl. VAT)
  • 1 adult + 2 children: €1,250 per month (total incl. VAT)

Other set-ups: total price to be confirmed

Join the waiting list

Planned prices, as of 06/10/2026. This is not yet a contract offer and no contract exists. Before any contract can be concluded, we’ll give you the binding scope, terms and prices; until then, everything is subject to change. Joining the waiting list is free and non-binding.

What’s settled – and what’s still open

Settled

  • The concept: workshops, lots of movement and a workspace for grown-ups under one roof.
  • How the price works: one monthly package for 1 adult + 1 child, planned at €1,000 per month; with a second child €1,250 per month – each a total price incl. VAT. A price only becomes binding with a contract offer.
  • Joining the waiting list is free and non-binding, and you can withdraw at any time.
  • We never ask for children’s names or dates of birth.

Still to be decided

  • Opening date and opening hours
  • Whether and how children can join activities without a parent
  • Who leads the classes
  • Safety concept for real tools
  • Age limits for each activity
  • Exactly what the package includes
  • Directions and access to the site
  • Term and notice period

How you’ll hear

  • Right here on this page – always dated.
  • By email, if you’ve agreed to waiting-list notifications.

What’s part of the concept

planned

Exactly what’s included will be set out in black and white before any possible contract.

  • Halle Laut play time
  • Classes in the workshop, lab, band room, studio, code studio and sports
  • Workspace in Halle Leise
  • Sternchenküche
  • Birthdays, Wildweekends, holiday workshopsNot automatically included
  • Term and notice periodSet before any possible contract

Ask Fitty

The big questions – answered honestly.

Can I leave my child there and go elsewhere?

Planned: you’re in the same building as your child, and in classes an adult course leader shows them how it’s done. Still open: who leads the classes and with what qualifications, from what age children take part without you – and whether you may leave the building while your child takes part. Until then we don’t promise any care without a parent present. Once the model is set, we’ll explain it here – clearly and simply.

Who leads the classes – and how safe are real tools?

We’re settling both right now. We’ll introduce course leaders and their qualifications once they’re confirmed – no names before that. For real tools we’re drawing up a safety concept: chosen for kids, guided and matched to age. We’ll publish it here once it’s ready.

What does the price include?

We’re deciding that now. We keep “planned” and “included in the package” clearly apart. Before any contract can be made, you’ll see everything in black and white.

When do you open?

We’ll only name a date once it’s certain. If you join the list and agree to waiting-list notifications, you’ll hear by email.

Where will TRALLAFITTY be?

In Hamburg. We’ll publish the exact address and directions once they’re confirmed.
