“How high can I get?”

The WHO recommends that children and young people aged 5 to 17 get an average of at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day.1 In Halle Laut we’re planning plenty of chances to move – whether a visit meets that recommendation depends on your child.

WHO guidelines on physical activity, 2020 (Bull et al., BJSM).

Through your child’s eyes

“Can I make the jump over the big box?”

What your child does here: Climb, slide, run, jump. Plus futsal, dance, parkour and kids’ yoga as planned classes.

The real thing at the end:

A goal. A routine. One hold higher.

Through your eyes

What’s behind it

We’re planning Halle Laut for letting off steam – with a climbing wall, slides and a futsal pitch.

Along the way, your child practises:

  • Being brave
  • Body awareness
  • Teamwork

Instead of just listening: How high to go is your child’s call – one hold at a time.

  • Planned
  • Membership: not yet decided
  • Ages: to be decided

How it might look at different ages

Examples for orientation – not age limits. Who for? Age limits are still to be decided.

  1. Ages 3–5

    Climbing & running wild

Climbs, slides and balances their way right across Halle Laut.

Along the way, your child practises: Movement, balance, daring

    Football

Plays a mini match – ball at their feet and lots of running.

Along the way, your child practises: Ball feel, movement, joining in

    Dancing

Dances to music, freezes when it stops and invents moves of their own.

Along the way, your child practises: Rhythm, body awareness, imagination

  2. Ages 6–8

    Climbing & running wild

Takes on a new route on the climbing wall – with help first, then on their own.

Along the way, your child practises: Strength, planning, daring

    Football

Plays futsal: fast, close to the ball and always as a team.

Along the way, your child practises: Ball control, passing, winning and losing fairly

    Dancing

Learns a hip-hop routine – and adds a move of their own.

Along the way, your child practises: Rhythm, remembering sequences, stepping forward

  3. Ages 9–12

    Climbing & running wild

Runs a parkour course of boxes and mats – and helps build the next one.

Along the way, your child practises: Body awareness, planning, judging risk

    Football

Practises passing moves and tries them out in a match.

Along the way, your child practises: Communicating, reading the game, thinking as a team

    Dancing

Practises first breakdance moves and shows them in the circle at the end.

Along the way, your child practises: Body control, sticking with it, performing

Questions and answers

Can I leave my child there and go elsewhere?
Planned: you’re in the same building as your child, and in classes an adult course leader shows them how it’s done. Still open: who leads the classes and with what qualifications, from what age children take part without you – and whether you may leave the building while your child takes part. Until then we don’t promise any care without a parent present. Once the model is set, we’ll explain it here – clearly and simply.
Is there a child protection policy?
Safety and child protection are preconditions for opening. We’ll publish our protection policy here once it’s ready.
What ages is TRALLAFITTY for?
Age limits for the individual activities are still being decided. The optional age band on the waiting list helps us plan – it isn’t an admission promise.
