For the afternoons when school’s out but work isn’t.

In Halle Leise we’re planning room for your work, a break or a conversation – in the same building as your child. What’s included in the package is still to be decided.

PSSST!

Halle Leise has its own rules: whisper, walk on tiptoe, let the grown-ups work.

  • Work. Laptop open, head in the game: desks, phone booths and a meeting room are planned.

  • Breathe. A coffee that’s still warm when you drink it. A book. Or ten minutes of nothing at all.

  • Join in. Lend a hand at the workbench, run wild together at the weekend, eat together in the Sternchenküche.

Your afternoon

What would your child do here?

Three quick questions, one example afternoon. No names, no sign-up.

Roughly how old is your child?

Just so the examples fit – not an age limit.

What does your child love doing most? Pick up to three.

And you – what will you do meanwhile?

Here’s how your child’s afternoon could look

Example

Example: age 6–8, loves building and climbing

WORK HARD.you

  1. You work with focus in Halle Leise.

  2. You take a call in peace in a phone booth.

  3. You close the laptop – done for the day.

PLAY HARD.your child

    Room: workshop (planning stage)
  2. 2 · In the thick of it

Takes on a new route on the climbing wall – with help first, then on their own.

Along the way, your child practises: Strength, planning, daring

    Room: Halle Laut (planning stage)
  3. 3 · To finish

Showing what they made – and telling you about it on the way home.

On the way home

Example Made-up lines, real plans.

Your child says:

  • “I built a birdhouse. Let’s hang it up!”
  • “I climbed all the way to the top.”

You say:

“I finally got some quiet work done.”

And then they show you what they made.

Who is with your child?

Planned
You’re in the same building as your child, and in classes an adult course leader shows them how it’s done.
Still open
Who leads the classes and with what qualifications, from what age children take part without you, and whether you may leave the building.

Until then we don’t promise any care without a parent present. Once the model is set, we’ll explain it here – clearly and simply.

Questions from parents

Can I work there?

Desks, phone booths and a meeting room are planned in Halle Leise. What’s included in the package is still to be decided – it will be set out in black and white before any possible contract. To be honest: we don’t promise total silence, a fixed desk or free headphones.

Isn’t the school’s all-day programme enough?

For many families, the school’s all-day programme is a good foundation. TRALLAFITTY is meant as an additional place. Opening hours are still to be decided.

Who counts as an adult?

Whether grandparents, an au pair or another carer can use the package, for example, is still to be decided.

Another appointment? Our child’s schedule is full already.

Whether there will be fixed classes, and how often, is still to be decided. Free time to run around is part of the concept too – not every afternoon has to be a class.
